Happy Birthday, Marilyn!

"I don't mind living in a man's world
as long as I can be a woman in it."
-Marilyn Monroe

This is a great vintage Marilyn Monroe photo card.  It's too bad it's damaged, but I still love the color and vibrant look that she has.  Printed on the back are the words, "Thinking of you."  I am not sure when the photo was taken, perhaps a Marilyn expert can help me out.  The card itself was mailed in 1972.
Today would have been her 85th Birthday.  Happy Birthday, Marilyn!

Happy Birthday, dear friend!
A lovely vintage card with a sweet little poem.  This one was published in 1909.

Hearty Birthday Wishes!

Happy Birthday, my friend!
A week filled with birthdays and celebrations!
I love this quirky vintage card.  It has a beautiful flower horseshoe and it's fuzzy!  What a fabulous vintage card.  Who wouldn't like to receive a furry floral birthday message?

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday to my 12-year-old daughter!  Wow!
(Beautiful, vintage color and gilt postcard with relief texture.  I love the colors and the sweet meadow scene in the center.)
