An odd postcard, commemorating a bridge tragedy in West Virgina. Sad, yes. Something use on a postcard greeting? I don't know that I would choose this one off the dime store rack.

When the 35W bridge collapsed in Minneapolis a few years ago, there was great interest in it. There were no postcards of it before or after. It was in an awkward location for photographs and was just one of several nearby bridges. If there had been a before view, it would have been easy to add a new caption.
